Tere Lojero was born in Mexico City and studied architecture in her native country. From 1998 onwards she follows the steps of Watercolor and completely devotes herself to this specialty.
She has taken part in diverse collective both national and international editions of watercolor exhibits and has presented more than 30 Solo Exhibits in several Galleries in Mexico and in the Scholz-Sorger Gallerie in Munich, Germany.
She obtained the Alfredo Guati Rojo Award; 2nd Place at the XII Watercolor Hall of Morelos; and different Excellence Awards in Mexico at the 1st Watercolor Price Rodin-Lumen, the VI and XI Premio Tlaloc, the 62 Salón Nacional de la Acuarela, in the International Watercolor 1st Triennial Exhibition in Varna, Bulgaria, in the International Watercolor Exhibition Malaysia 2019, in the 1st International Grand Masters Exhibition, Moscow of the IWS Sare Gallery and in the “Step by Step” IWS Poland Competition 2019.
She is the IWS Mexico Leader since July 2017 and since 2019 she is the IWS Globe Vice-president. She has been a juror in different painting contests and as watercolor promoter and organizer she has arranged the International Watercolor Contest “Thoughts made of Water” in Chihuahua city, México, the International Exhibit “Up in the Air” in the National Watercolor Museum “Alfredo Guati Rojo” in Mexico City (2018) and in the Central University of Quito in Ecuador (2019) and the International Watercolor Contest “Premio Tlaloc 2018 and 2019” in the Estado de México Watercolor Museum, located in Toluca city, Mexico and has taken Mexican artists to Madrid, Spain, and Moscow, Russia
