Khoosheh Shayan (b. 1975, Gorgan) is an Iranian photographer, interdisciplinary artist, painter, and performer exploring image-making, materiality, and live presence. Engaging with themes of human existence, transformation, and decay, she merges photography, alternative printmaking, painting, video art, and performance. With a background in biology, her work dissects the body’s relationship with space and impermanence. Her projects span galleries, festivals, and site-specific interventions, expanding contemporary art beyond conventional boundaries.
