Fatemeh Tavafi, a contemporary artist working in the fields of ceramics, ecological art, and bioclimatic art, focuses on enhancing the human sensory experience in response to artistic creation. She pursues a clear path of integrating various mediums and paradigms, including ceramics, kinetic art, biomaterials, the cultivation of invasive species, and conscious interventions in biological processes. She challenges the boundaries between material, process, and sustainability. Her concerns span from the crisis of non-biodegradable waste to the possibility of organic coexistence with a dynamically changing ecosystem.
